Artist description
I write songs that all mean something to me but people tell me mean something to them as well. Some of the lyrics say different things to different people but I quite like that. I like to think that I can be quiet and rowdy in the same set...! |

Artist History
I have written songs from an early age, trained on the piano but now almost exclusively play guitar. My peformance background came through the folk circuit and then led into the acoustic scene generally. Played lots of gigs, mostly around the Manchester and Cheshire area (UK) in various guises, both solo and with other great musicians. The Sugar Stealers (with Kevin Bates, Rick Carleton and Chrissie O'Connor) performed quite widely between 94 ish and recently, the songs added to by the extra guitar and percussion work. It's the Sugar Stealers' version of "Wishing Time Away" that you can hear on MP3. Also play traditional Irish music professionally with Tony Sullivan on Banjo and various others!
I teach and perform music regularly, currently can be found most months at the Why Worry Club (see link) and other venues in Manchester and Stockport. |
