Artist description
Chrisie Santoni's soulful, ethereal vocals, brilliant songwriting, and infectious personality, are the perfect match for "New Family", with their New Jersey roadhouse rock and blues. Chrisie's solo debut album, "going home" is already receiving extensive air play on the East Coast. Chrisie's previous album, with her debut band "Spluff Katunga", received rave reviews and turned her into a rock icon among east coast music fans. "Rickma", on lead guitar, was a roadie for "The Southern Cross Band", and was nurtured by the bands guitar players, Sonny, Joe and Tony.
Rickma formed the group "Blazin Fire" which became "Windfall" and finally became "The New Family Band". Rickma wrote, recorded and copywrited such songs as, "Runnin In My Mind", "Shoulda Known Better" and "Take Me Down". "Hank" on bass picked up his first guitar at age fourteen was encouraged and studied under Jerry Carboy. Hank joined his first band, "Kokomos", six months later. Other bands Hank has performed with are, "The Cicago Massacre", "Crossfire", "Stone Blue", and "The Kerosene City Band". "Chrisie" performs accoustic, vocals and front, "Rickma" on lead guitar, "Hank" on bass, "Killer Keyboards" Wayne, and Joe on drums. "Chrisie Santoni and New Family" formed bringing years of experience, combining a natural "love of music" to create a group which is sensational. |
