Artist History
In 1998 Patrick Jaeger began making music based on his industrial and metal influences. After getting some equipment together and experimenting with different sounds he came to an industrial feel that at the time was not focused and soon he abandoned it.
In 1999 he began scouting for bands in Kansas City that he could join. He found Dissonance. John Hadl, Aaron Parn, and Sam Garcia. This was heavy metal with nothing to distract. Patrick became the vocalist for Dissonance and soon the group made some good songs and some shows were played during the summer of 2000.
In early 2001 Dissonance was reorganized and Aaron Parn was replaced by Chris Summers, formerly of Turnstyle. The moniker given to the band by the new drummer was Hopeless. It stuck and soon new songs were unleashed with a much heavier sound, although still oddly timed and dissonant, the new sound made some sick, it was enviable.
By November of 2001 Hopeless was dissolved into the Kansas City band scene. The members each moving on to other projects.
Patrick founded the coma project soon after.
December 17th 2002, The Coma Project released 'In The Eye'. |
