Artist History
Originally born in the Chicago area but later moving to New York to live with realitives , Mozes was influenced by both worlds. He grew up hearing the early sounds of Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, The Jacksons, along with the new music from the streets coming from the likes of The Sugar Hill Gang,Fab 5 Freddy , and Grand Master Flash. While in the New York area living his life he became close friends to the emcee now still known as K-solo who helped hones Mozes lyrical skills along with his stage presence. It wasm't much later from when K-Solo inked his deal that Mozes was back on his way to Chicago where he aventually hooked up with area producer Dj Emmaculate who in turn introduced him to a group of Chicago's best emcee who became the current group "The Rec Center". After releasing a full group cd named "Lonely People" Mozes Gunn put out his first full solo album with his current label Radar Communication Records. |
