Music once found only in rave parties is being tweaked and toned to find itself on radio, where it appeals not only to old ravers but an entirely new audience altogether. Dream house has found its ambassador in :Lotus. Full, textured vocals layer her atmospheric Popnuvo singles, a mesh of pop and electronic beat. They have already been downloaded thousands of times, primarily through word of mouth recommendation. :Lotus is a collaboration between singer/pianist Cristin Matthews, producer Terence Mazon and Robin Kalmek. It was so well received that it attracted over 80 000 downloads, spurring interest in the idea of Popnuvo's artist collective approach.
