Artist History
Driven is Jason Garbacz, Steve Lentz, and Brad Martens.
Their music is characteristic of progressive rock.
Time signatures, key changes, and longer than ordinary
songs are common place for this band. The lyrics relate
to past experiences and feelings of society.
Jason Garbacz is the bassist and has played for 13 years.
Steve Lentz is the guitarist and has played for 28 years and has
played throughout the midwest. Brad Martens is the drummer/keyboardist
and has played for 13 years. All three members of the band
sing lead and back-up vocals at various times.
The members of Driven joined forces in 1994 while playing
together in a band with various musicians. They eventually
decided to remain a three piece band and write and record
their own music. They recorded their first c.d, Optimism Kills in the
winter of 1998-1999. They then recorded their second c.d., Wreckage
in the early part of 2000. They have had airplay on
local radio shows at 101.5 WIBA FM, Madison, Wi. and
The FOXX 97 in Neenah/Menasha, Wi. They have also done live
radio interviews.
Right now they are recording their third c.d. and will
have it done soon. After it is released they hope to be
gigging out. To get any of the c.d.s go to our website at
