Artist History In 1995, Alanis Morissette exploded onto the alternative music scene with her scathing hit "You Oughta Know." She has since crossed over to major success in the pop, rock and adult album alternative formats, making her debut album, "Jagged Little Pill," one of the top-selling albums of all time. Her 1998 follow-up, "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie," landed similar success, as has her 1999 "MTV Unplugged" effort. Morissette's music has won numerous awards, including several Grammys, and she continues to tour regularly worldwide. In the summer of 1999, MP3.com sponsored Morissette's 5-1/2 Weeks tour with fellow songstress Tori Amos.
