Artist History The Tares began in Fayetteville, Arkansas in the fall of 1996. Their local following has grown steadily over the years and they are now in the process of establishing themselves in the wider region. Their 1999 calander includes shows in Arkansas (Fayetteville, Little Rock), Tennesee (Memphis), Texas (Dallas, Austin), and Misouri (Kansas City, Columbia). Touring highlights of the calander year have included The Tares appearance at the 1999 South by Southwest music conference and showcase (SXSW99). They will also be attending the CMJ Musicfest'99.
