Artist description
The Sheep Fiends are analog, unproduced,
improvisational, and spontaneous. This
improvisational and psychedelic band is not
stuck in time. Lyrics are composed as the music
is played, musicians find their way by ear, and
it is not uncommon for an instrument to change
hands mid-song.
The Sheep Fiends play no particular genre, and a Sheep Fiends jam is no performance. Over the past 10 years, more than 100 musicians have floated in and out of Sheep Fiends jams and an orchestra of instruments have contributed to the experience. The Sheep Fiends do occasionaly play for the public, and the audience seem to end up on-stage playing our instruments.
Considering our format, you might reasonably expect little more than noise. You'll have to take our assurance that this is just not so. Our music is refreshing and different. If you are simply tired of music made by market analysis, if you have been listening to the same radio format for too long, if one more "boy" or "girl" band will send you over the edge, then get back to the basics. Music is about creative energy. Check out The Sheep Fiends. |
