Artist description
Guitar-heavy grooves. Sudden stops. Melodic tinkerings. Dynamic, swirling segues. Fuzz bass. Heart-felt vocals. One reviewer had this to say, "guitar-driven indie pop, filtered through intellectual Dischord stylings...catchy guitar riffs...inspired singing...". ------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Artist History
Formed in 1998, the members of The Ottoman Society are definately not strangers to one another. All members have played together in various other bands dating as far back as 1989. The band took a break from live performance in May of 1999, to record their self-titled debut cd. Cd sales remain steady, as the band is currently (fall'99) playing much giggage and writing songs for their next release (due spring'99). The Ottoman Society would love to play YOUR show...e-mail us. ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
