Artist History
As the reluctant frontman and co-founder of the genre-hopping 80's punk band, Liquid Squid and producer of a few forgettable local metal band's studio demos. James Byars had been in the 'scene' both as a player and as a spectator. During one of those brief moments as a 'player' in the recording studio, it was somehow decided a melodic keyboard break would fit into a 'punk anthem' as opposed to the oft overused guitar solo. It was at this moment that the thought that has now manifested as Grindwërks first became. After a few years of simply no time for music, Grindwërks has finally developed into a full-blown 'hobbyist' project. |
