Artist description
Look out Country fans, there's a new player in town! His name is David Arr, and his style of Country is commercially unique and refreshing. David credits his enthusiastic lyrics and music, to the combination of his early childhood up-bringing, which included the Traditional Country Stars his family listened to, on Sunday mornings, and David's own personal favorites, like Bob Seger, the Eagles, Kenny Rodgers, K.T. Oslin, Eddy Rabbit, and several other modern day stars. When asked, where his approach to writing songs comes from, David replies, "it's truly a God given gift." Even though he has no formal education in music and writing, David's songs, whether they are an up-tempo, with a Pop/Rock hard hitting beat, or a heartfelt smooth moving Ballad, have caught the attention of the music industry, and fans from all venues of music. After years of writing, and playing the smaller venues, David landed his first Recording Agreement in 1998, with Midland Productions and Records. Midland Records, released a three song Single CD of David, titled, "David Arr," in January of 1999. "David Arr," is still receiving good airplay, and has topped Independent/Major Label Charts, throughout the US and Overseas. David's most recent CD, "Live Storm," on the Best Records label, being promoted by Western Heart Promotions, is already attacking the airways, as some of Country's hottest music! David and his band "Storm," set out to create a CD, that's sound would be as live as the band's stage performance, and have succeeded! "Live Storm" is country straight from the heart, with a north rock attitude. It's a prime example of David's unruly way, to define what Country Music is, to a person who has treasured Traditional Country, but wants to move forward into the new Millennium, with a style of Country Music, that will appeal to nearly everyone. Therefore, David and his band, would like to introduce to you, "Millennium Country Music." With the airplay David's getting, and his recent opening, for the major label country act "Ricochet," it's easy to see, why the inside cover of "Live Storm," displays the quote, Tap the energy.....capture the Storm!
