Artist History
Formed in August of '98, breathingunderwater is a studio based project, with a view to forming a live line-up in the future. The 1st cd release was the ep "aquatic ceremony". The debut full-length effort "Horizonchrist" was released in August 2000, and features a denser, more layered sound than it's predesessor. The ep, "Prayers to Broken Stones" was released in early 2001, featuring 3 new songs, and remixes. The remix ep, "A Dry Remorse: A Brand New Hurt redefined" released mid 2001, showcased the talents of many of the Net's best underground electronic artists, remixing breathingunderwater's "A Brand New Hurt". In late November 2001, breathingunderwater took away 2 awards in The Bay of Plenty Music Awards, Best Album, for Horizonchrist, and best production, also for Horizonchrist. The new full length studio album "The Art Of Irrational Thinking" is out soon. |
