Artist description
Not a blue mood, Aquarian Blue is a personal color
of musican, producer, & engineer Rob DiCamillo; his
solo CD and 1st release for SynMuse Productions.
With vocals a tad reminiscent of Elton J., and a
style that acknowledges the brit pop and prog/art rock genres without being overly technical, his
songs are complete little sonic worlds featuring:
innocent alto/baritone vocals; melodic bass lines;
ethereal synth timbres; big keyboard arrangements.
There are more colorings in the musical reflections
on Aquarian Blue then you can throw an alternative
rock at. So if you're bored with the out of tune
90's guitar rock legacy, give a listen to someone
who likes dreamy pop music with production values. |

Artist History
Mr. D. cut his teeth in one too many bands until
he couldn't endure anymore of playing covers, dim
originals, or rehearsing loud bands for showcases.
He grew up in the studio doing keyboards, synths, instrumental music, and production work (Kintek
Cinesonics, Dance Umbrella/MA Arts Council, Boston
Museum of Science, Tufts University). When less
is more, he's happy to unplug a keyboard and play
with friends or open nights (especially down the
Vineyard). |
