Artist description this is a project created to explore my facination with fear. i set out to create soundscapes which create an ambience which makes you feel uncomfortable, creeped out, or a little afraid. if you're the kind of person that looks for such experiences, you should try listening to some Torpid Spiral in the dark, by yourself, with a good pair of headphones if possible.

Artist History the project began when i made some mood music for my roommates' sessions with our ouija board. i had a few unfinished, open-ended mixes lurking on my harddrive, and i figured i'd share them with the world. thus, Torpid Spiral came to be at the beginning of 2002.
