Artist description
Hookdignious, Waxo, Jugghead, Devastator, and Doctor Mike J make up The Phalanx, which owns and operates four home pro-audio studios where all material is written, produced, engineered, and mastered. The Phalanx has made its free flowin rhyme st yles available to the public by giving away free yearly compilation albums, an exclusive website full of mp3s and concert footage, and its first full length LP of completely new material: Corporate Raid. The first single off of the album is Make Moves. It talks about how anyone motivated to do something should not let any obstacles stand in their way of success. Having patience and continuing to work hard has always been the Phalanx way.a |

Artist History
These MCs decided back in the summer of 1999 that after over ten years of writing, producing, engineering, and duplicating their own hip-hop material, it was time to take the music to the next level. Now focused on getting the music heard by the masses instead of having it sink deeper in the dim lights of the basement studio, these MCs have become a completely self-contained unit. And with this, The Phalanx was born.. |
