Artist description
Heavy Confetti is a band which defies categories. Whether due to the eclectic ears of it's creators, or a case of rampant ADHD, HC just can't stay with one genre or fit within any standard musical classification. The music tends to keep both it's musicians and listeners guessing. Central to the group's sound is a heavy guitar presence, both acoustic and electric. On any given tune HeavyConfetti might be playing ambient, blues, jazz, rock, punk, found-sound, metal, prog, reggae, flamenco, speed-metal, or just plain satire or goofiness. The guitarist confesses to having a propensity to play "too many notes" and often too rapidly for his own good, in the style of John McLaughlin, Allan Holdsworth and Strunz and Farah. |
