Artist History It would be a lie to say that this band has not gone through some struggles - times where the band almost ended and went in different directions. This band hasn't been through some of the things you'd see on VH1's Behind The Music, but given the circumstances, most bands would have quit by now. But God never puts us through struggles that we cannot overcome. In 1999, Dan Cole moved to Tallahassee, Florida from Cincinnati, Ohio where he once played guitar in the local-Cincy band, Simpleton. A sophomore in high school, Dan met Ben O'Rear at a local church. They both shared common interests in music, religion, and even pizza. With about a mile distance between the two, they would meet up occasionally to play music together. The meetings became so frequent, they wound up desiring to start a Christian band, but no drummer or bassist was in their sights. Dan met Nathan Lee in their 3rd hour Chemistry class as he was practicing drumbeats on his desk. To make a long story short, Dan invited him over to his house to jam with him and Ben. The three have been best friends ever since that day, and they share no differences when it comes to making music and serving the Lord, Jesus Christ. The band (which was "Loose Change" at the time) started out playing party shows and small gigs around Tallahassee and started to receive quite a following. Kelley Cornett and Leah Smithey of DemoGirl Productions (who have now gone on to start Vindicated Records) were a tremendous help in the beginning with hooking the band up in shows with bands like Cool Hand Luke, SaGoh 24/7, Denison Marrs, TwoThirtyEight, Ghoti Hook, and others. The same goes for Matt McKee, formerly of Katherine Speed who is now the frontman for Avery. No bassist stuck until Dan moved to Niceville in 2001 and met Cody Jordan. Cody instantly meshed with the band and became the missing piece of the puzzle. In June of 2002, Forever Changed put out their first full-length album entitled "Drifting Into Amazing" without the support of a label or professional studio. The album has had a very good response and will be followed up by this summers' release of a new 3-song demo. Now, Dan and Ben live in Kissimmee, Cody lives in Niceville, and Nathan lives in Tallahassee. Yet somehow, they've kept things alive...and better than ever. Forever Changed never ceases to put on a strong, energetic performance that leaves your jaw dropped and the spirit moving. And by August of this year, the band will finally be living together in the same town. The four guys in Forever Changed have an incredible passion for their music, and they hope to keep on playing God's music for years to come - whether it be for a crowd of five or five-thousand.
