Artist History
My parents started me on the piano when I was eight, but I didn't
take to that too well. After about four years of piano lessons, they
let me quit. I picked up the guitar in high school and started
listening to Neil Young, the Grateful Dead and a lot of blues. Later
I went through a big Doors phase. I played guitar and piano in the
jazz band during my senior year of high school, even though I didn't really
know what I was doing! I performed in my college jazz band and jammed
with a lot of different people. After college, I played guitar and
sang at open mic nights, coffee shops and bars, although that never
went anywhere. I'm still playing guitar and writing songs, though, and collobarating with
fellow musicians. I have finally recorded with one of these musicians,
Doug Arnet, and will feature some of our songs on this site. |
