Artist History
On March 21, 1987, three musical mages (Michael Grimes and Frank Nestola, formerly of Concrete Witchdoctors and at the time, members of Razor Chamber; and Greg Fasolino formerly of The Naked and the Dead, Burning Rome, The Cave, Outcry, and The Oppressed, and then currently recording as Rawhead) came together at Bizarreland Studio for a sole night of sorcery and sonic weirdness. All three Goatblood Sacrifice members also took part in another experimental project in May 1987, called Pump. Nestola was also previously in The Oppressed, Outcry, and The Cave. Grimes later played in 99 Stellavista and Sisterboy, and he currently performs with Zenen. In 2002 Fasolino reformed The Naked and the Dead, now defunct again; he is currently working on a a new band with former Naked and the Dead bassist Christopher Bollman. |
