Artist History
How it started:
Paul Fraser and Randy Gallier met in their home town of Des Moines, Wa
sometime back in the late 90's. At the time they were both starting out
on guitar and naturally based a friendship on this common interest. They
shared a passion for a rather melon collie sound with spare acoustic stylings.
However living in Seattle during the wake of the grunge era Paul developed
a thirst for the heavier side of music and started a band he calls paramour.
The band was in constant turmoil with a lack of equipment and stability.
No one seemed to have the patience to commit to such an unstable project including
Randy who quit after holding a brief position as the bassist for the group.
Throughout the years Paul kept paramour going all the while
sharing an acoustic touchstone with Randy that was often revisited.
Anyhow, after years in the basement the two finally decided to see what they
could do with their brand of what they call, wussy pop/rock. So they went into
the studio and that brings us to present day. |
