Artist description spacebar is a freeform creative collective of producers, sound engineers, DJs and musicians with the sole intent of promoting drum n bass in the malaysian music scene. creatively spacebar is limited only to none, expanding beyond the musical horizon and branching into other means of creative expression. musically, years of experience in various bands playing various musical instruments has provided a melting pot of original ideas to be explored. freeing themselves from the band/bandmember ideology, they have singlehandedly changed the public's vision on electronica and club culture, while showing their versatility in various sub-genres of drum n bass and even breakbeat. as producers and visual artists, spacebar is recognized as pioneers, and as live artistes, their intensity on stage can only be equaled to their passion for their music. with support from fellow local junglists and help from as far as the UK, Japan, USA and Canada, spacebar is here to open people's eyes, to take away the biased views and hypocrisy on everything from local club culture to design, and to make the best drum n bass record ever!
