Artist History I (Steve Duder) had joined the band shortly after a jam with my college buddy Lyle Anderson. It was kid of weird. I always thought Lyle was too weird of a guitarist to play with but he was really talented. We went to school together and he was in another band called Audio Therapy. He wanted to do a side project from the band he was currently in because he just loves music that much. We started as a 3 piece band without vocals. We just had Synth Guitar, Bass guitar, and Drums. We eventually placed ads for singer and we audtioned a singer that could actually sing to the wacky music that we were creating. We chose this singer (Sexual Chocolate) and eventually came up with the name "Sexual Chocolate and the White Boys." We were previously called "Studiobum" before the name change. Our drummer that was in the band decided to quit the band and so he could persue his dream as an 80's rocker in the Tony Band. His name was Chris Anderson. We found a new drummer that really could tear it up. (Mark Baker) He wowed us with all of the white soul that poured out of his drumming. One of the white boys was a goofy fucker (Steve Duder) and had created a giant penis costume which he wears on stage. (The women love it.) Well there it is. Sexual Chocolate and the White Boys was born and we have been writing wacky songs and rockin the clubs ever since. Recently we picked up 2 new members. We picked up DeRaye Miller as the vocalist "Sexual Chocolate." We also picked up a new tenor saxophone player, Andy Schwandt.
