    Artist description
    McKenzie Bridge is one of the most new and exciting traditional Bluegrass bands from the mountain region. Although McKenzie Bridge is a newly formed band, the members have been performing Bluegrass music for more than a combined 20 years. McKenzie Bridge is comprised of some of the best talent in acoustical music performance. The band has sold out and played for an audience of 2,000 at Brigham Young University. They opened for the Chesapeake Bluegrass band in Sandy, Utah. The band members have toured the world, taking traditional American music to the people of China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand. They are regular performers at Sundance, an internationally recognized ski resort, owned and operated by Robert Redford. Andrea, originally from Arkansas, was surrounded by Bluegrass music from birth She is the featured lead vocalist and is as talented as she is charismatic. Her dynamic voice has peak the interests of United Artists and she has taken first place in state vocal competitions. She won a songwriter competition sponsored by Tim O’Brien and was personally invited to open for his concert . She has taught a number of Bluegrass classes at Brigham Young University and had an article published in Bluegrass Unlimited magazine. Bill Sprunger, featured on fiddle, mandolin, and guitar has been a singer/songwriter for more than ten years. His compositions speak for themselves. Two of his originals are featured on the demo CD- track 2, “Bill’s Reel”, and track 3 “Middle of the Highway.” Both songs were written and composed by Bill. He has also placed first in Utah State solo instrument competitions on the mandolin and fiddle. Andrew Williams, featured on the fiddle has toured all over Canada, Japan, and Europe with the Brigham Young University Folk Ensemble playing traditional American Music. He has played fiddle for 17 years. He studied Jazz fiddle with Jim Hurley and is currently a teaching fiddle. He has played in a number of Bluegrass Bands locally and is one of Utah’s best fiddlers.
