Artist History Drummer/singer Mia Park (ex The Baltimores, "Chic A Go Go" cable-tv-show host) formed Kim in 1999 with other awesome Chi-town Asian American female musicians. The Kim formula clicked into place in 2000 with members Yanti Arifin (ex Squirm) & Janet Kim (ex Pomadori) both on vox & guitar. With dual-guitar-no-bass action, Kim has rocked Chicago at music venues, cultural awareness shows and at benefit concerts. Active in both the Chicago music scene and Asian American community, Kim comfortably bridges the gap between being a rock band and Representing Asian American women in rock!
