Artist History Fimbulvinter was formed in 2001, and started out playing black metal akin to Dimmu Borgir. After a long period of inactivity Fimbulvinter are currently (Fall '02) working on new songs. The new material attempts to integrate the folk elements in a more organic way than previously. The whole song-writing process is also under revision and reevaluation, so this might affect the productivity of the band. The song we have posted on this page is an old one, and we would ofcourse like to post new material, but this might take a few months. We have also had a change in line-up in the form of a new pianist, Allan.
