Artist History
Everything stared in 1991 When Krook Rock and his highschool friends formed the first latin Hip-Hop group in Rhode Island called "Mackmen" they opend up shows for groups like "Gangstarr" and "Grand Puba". They enterd and won several talents shows, in 1994 the group fell apart and some of the old group menbers remain into the music. Then he dicided to form a group called BLC (Bad Luck Crew) and recorded their first song professionally. they performed at many shows including events at URI (University of Rhode Island) University of Bridgeport in connecticut and also in " the Battle of the Bronx Mceez " in NYC in 1996. In january of '98 he met 2 brothers and their cousin who were spanish rappers and beatmakers (Guary, Wild and Cue). like god-send they began to get along and do things in a short period of time they became like brothers and the new BLC la mala suerte was born. They began recording and performing together at Boston College the Dominican and Puerto Rican festivals in RI and appeared on local cable access shows in NY and Providence they released an EP that same summer titled "7 years of..." Now is the year 2001 and BLC-La Mala Suerte is dropping their 2nd album title "Donde estan los tigueres?" with hot songs like "Donde estan los tigueres?" and "Rompelo".
