Artist History Rockland began his musical at the age of 12 going around town to see and hear local sound systems such as Jah Love, Caveman, Earthquake, Eagle Love, Kimimanjaro, Small Axe, etc.... Inspired by what he saw he started to sing at talent stage shows all around the island. Beginning around 1995 Rockland started to visit Kingston recording studios such as Mixing Lab, Music Walk, Penthouse, Bobby Digital, Black Scorpio, etc.. to record his own original songs. His first 45" release was on the I and I Foundation label in 1997 called "Ghetto People." Rockland went on to release more singles on the Sonic Sounds, Caveman and Public Enemy Lables. His lates single is on his own Bad Treatment label and features songs as "High Meditation" and "Lead Them By Far." Currently, Rockland is working on an album project of which is expected to be released Summer 2002. Look forward to the vibes!
