Artist description
Jason is a 23 year old UCLA graduate who has been playing guitar for over thirteen years. Getting started playing hard rock/metal, he began playing the blues around the age of thirteen. Recently, Jason has been writing and recording not just blues, but songs which mix the blues with funk, rock, etc. to give it a more commercial sound. Versatile in many styles, Jason's sound is full of soul, which is clear in whatever type of music he's playing. |

Artist History
Jason is the guitar player for the music in the CBS television show "Becker," and has played in the scores for the feature films "House on Haunted Hill" and "Universal Soldier II: The Return." In May of 1999, Jason won the grand prize in the "Jam with Kenny Wayne Shepherd" contest (sponsored by Guitar Center, Launch.com, Fender) and performed with the KWS band at the Los Angeles "House of Blues." He has been written about in "Blues Revue" magazine and is soon to be discussed in "Parade" magazine of the Los Angeles Times. In addition to playing guitar on "Becker," he is co-writing and playing the music on the new Fox sit-com "A Minute With Stan Hooper" airing on Wednesday nights at 8:30. |
