Artist History Jazz/pop singer/songwriter/guitarist in Raleigh NC area. I'm originally from Atlanta where I worked as sound engineer at the Agora Ballroom, played in several party bands and wrote music. I moved to Wilmington, NC where I decided I needed to record and perform my original music. It was then that my group THE QUICK was formed and my first release "Dynamic Proportions" was created. Less than 3 years later I moved to the Raleigh NC area where I live now.

Group Members The late St. Claire Pinkney (sax man for James Brown, Godfather of soul) - I was part of his solo work in the late 80's. Sam Bryant (Kenny Wayne Shepherd's drummer) - was my drummer in THE QUICK. Tim Brailsford (Voltage Brother's music director) - was my keyboardist in THE QUICK. Danny Pera (Berklee School of music trained) - was my bassist in THE QUICK. Carl Sinkler (Dr. of Music, SC State University) - was my sax player in THE QUICK. John Cashwell (1999 GMA Songwriting Contest National champion) - plays and sings on my new CD, "AS YET..."
