Artist description Jeff has been singing and playing professionally since the age of 16. Growing up in Tifton, Georgia in the 70's, his musical influences included the usual line up of country (southern) rock bands like Lynyrd Synyrd, Charlie Daniels, and The Eagles. He spent time in Muscle Shoals, Alabama as a local musician and student while working and making friends at the local studios like FAME, WISHBONE, and Muscle Shoals Sound. There he played in bands with Ralph Ezell (Shenandoah), Stan Thorn (Shenandoah), Chalmers Davis (Little Richard) to name a few.

Artist History Jeff moved to Atlanta in the early 80's and played in some regionally successful bands. In 1987, Jeff appeared on Star Search as a solo vocalist and got into the semi-finals up against none other than country music singer-songwriter, Phil Vassar. See the movie to find out who won.
