Artist History
Aggravated Static was formed back in 1997 by Jonathan Feltner and Roger Brink. They both came from different styles of music ranging from Rock, Punk, Death Metal, Black Metal, Gothic and Industrial and from this Aggravated Static were born. A year after Aggravated Static was formed they released a demo tape. After the release of there demo they played numerous live shows and small tours in conclusion of this they realized that they wanted more out of there music so they decided there differences where to great and decided to go there separate ways. Aggravated Static ended in 1999.
In 2001 Jonathan Feltner has brought the band back by himself and is trying to create a new sound for the band that's more synthetic and fewer guitars.

DARK TRANQUILITY MUSIC ZINE REVIEWS Aggravated Static:
Aggravated Static hailing from Orlando Florida and making those boy bands shake in they're pennyloafers! Digital Genome is the debut cd from the Aggravated Static camp and displays a unique and diverse approach to dark Electro Industrial.
March of The Pigs comes at us with tones of traditional Industrial backdrops fused with a downtempo vibe and smooth percussion work."One of my favs".
Illusion is up next with a Trance meets World beat vibe.Smooth and melodic with well excecuted synth tones greeted with EbM percussions.Smooth and beautifully flowing tones.Pennydroppers will definately groove to this.Similar in structure to bands like Delirium.
Hal2000 maintains the EbM backdrop, sweet arpeggios and synth fills coupled with driving percussion and experimental overtones.Dancefloor friendly indeed!
DNA with a flavorful Drum and Bass approach with borderline Worldbeat chorales and Downtempo spicings.
Requiem follows suit and is another one of my favorite Static tracks. This track has also been recieving alot of airplay and was chosen to be on the "Indie Nation" various artists compilation.Darkwave meets dark D&B smooth Electro excellence.Another Pennydropper favorite. If you like it slow and dark this track is right up your alley!
Kzin is up next with a maniacle intro that sweeps you into dark D&B bliss.I just love the compositions Static drums up.D&B meets Industrial Dance.
Hold Your Tongue maintaining an EbM vibe this track will get you moving.Driving tempos creating a great dancefloor vibe!
Symphony For The Digital Soul Trip Hop percussion,Darkwave synthlines and heavenly chior chorales make this another great Pennydrop song.I also love the "Drop the Bass" approach mixed into the groove, giving it some punch.Smooth and sultry just a great mellow track Minimul yet full of Zest!
Synthetic Dreams Let the arrpeggios rip.Aggravated Static has a distinguishable style all his own. This track another dancefloor pumping jam.
Odyssey Of The Mind Pounding out an EbM vibe, this one definately bumping up the bpm's and is just begging for vocals. On of the stronger compositions on the disc.
Trance Fusion Sounds like the name.Trance tones fused with EbM stylings and a great way to end the disc.
Aggravated Static's debut cd will surely rock the house. With smooth orchestrations and dance beats, this one is a keeper and a must have for any club dj or dance music enthusiast.
