Artist description TG is a multitalented performer who is known for his style of old school classic hip-hop and experimental breakbeat techniques which includes beatboxing and sample looping over records.He has performed at several events such as,the Slipstate shows at The Aqualounge and appearances at The Warehouse,Egypt,and The Proto-Lounge,all in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania.He has also performed with Extremekicks at several B-Boy competetitions in Oaks,West Chester,and King Of Prussia,Pennsylvania,Atlantic City,New Jersey and on the locally televised educational series,"The Science Lab of Grand Hank".TG has showcased his talents at The 2001 Philadelphia Music Conference and participated in The Projekt Revolution DJ Battle in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania.A member of the Greater Philadelphia Hip Hop Alliance(GPHHA).

Artist History TG was born in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania and raised in Norristown,Pennsylvania where he developed his talents and love for music at an early age by listening to his father's record collection.He started out as a b-boy in 1994,forming his own crew,"The Infamous Funktronix Force".He has also danced as a regular on the former locally televised teen dance show,"In The Groove" for two and a half years.He started making his own mixtapes by the time he was 15 and continued all throughout high school.Listening to Grandmaster Flash's landmark 1981 recording,"The Adventures Of Grandmaster Flash On The Wheels Of Steel" made TG express interest in the art of djing.At the suggestion of his older brother,he contacted a local mobile dj,Mike Scott(whom his brother went to school with).TG learned the basics of djing and soon developed his own style even teaching himself a few tricks.He made his first appearance,as a DJ,at a block party in August of 1997 at the age of 16.He received excellent responses from the crowd for his style and techniques.TG moved to Phoenixville,Pennsylvania,where he graduated high school,and performed on a few occasions even joining a crew called,The Imperial Guards for a high school talent show and performing as a member of the band,The Notourious T.I.C.He continued performing until he moved to Philadelphia,Pennsylvania and developed a new style along with his old,listening to artists like Afrika Bambaataa,Q-Bert,Rahzel(from The Roots)and many other influentual artists.He then started adding beatboxing to his mixes,more serious scratches, sample looping on the fly and using more genres of music for cutting and chopping.Thus he developed his own new hip-hop sound called "experimental hip-hop"(name credit to Philadelphia experimental band,Flowchart by member and DJ,Sean O'Neal).
