Artist History
Feathergun is the emancipation of pop hooks from the napsack of Sam Lewis...that's me. Hi.
When I was 0, I was born.
When I was 5, my mom took me to see Xanadu.
When I was 8, my mom took me to see Sgt Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band.
When I was 11, I took piano lessons...my mom was the teacher.
When I was 13, I had a Bar Mitvah and my parsha was Bereshith. Mommy was proud.
When I was 18, I said "Bye mom, I'm going to college!"
When I was 19, I won a guitar and amp in a round of blackjack.
When I was 20, I said "Hey mah, look at me, I'm Kurt Kobain!" as I slammed on distorted power chords.
When I was 21, I got an acoustic guitar and learned to play the Beatles.
When I was 22, I borrowed a drum kit and played in Andy's Bar Mitzvah Party, Powerline and Joint Cheifs.
When I was 23, I bought my own drum kit and formed Loosends with Jesse McCabe.
Shortly after that, moved out to LA, met Garret Smith and the rock began... |

Press Reviews
"Without a doubt, one of the most rewarding (live) shows in LA…this is one (band) that you better pay attention to"
Jenn Cassie, Lamusicscene.com
"Feathergun is a breath of fresh-air to us work-a-day stiffs. Their music is made by and for the creative geniuses stifled amid the fluorescent light-shaded cubicle causeways that criss-cross corporate America. Cubicle Rock or Powerpoint Pop, whatever you call it, it's about kicking down the office walls and remembering what inspires you. Meanwhile, while you're doing that, Feathergun will continue tearing down the walls of the LA music scene."
MTV News, Los Angeles CA
"Lewis and company give you songs that stand up to repeated listens with the kind of real tight guitar/rock sounds not often heard these days (and perfect for summer)."
Gary Glauber, Pop Matters/Fufkin.com
"(Music to Wash to) has got every ingredient to wash away the thoughts of another day wasted in your cubicle hell, or to soften the ride back home"
Eddy Speeder EZine
