Musical Influences Jawbreaker/Jets To Brazil, Alkaline Trio, Lonely Kings, Smoking Popes, Superchunk, Face to Face, Led Zeppelin, Descendents, Toy Dolls, The Nixon Years, Slayer (Lee's influence).

Artist History The band started up in early 2001 looking for a way to escape from the day-to-day monotony….. oh, and to get chicks. They found their way through the consumption of beer and the breaking of guitar strings (well at least Jason and Jake did). Always loud, sometimes melodic, Chalkie hopes that there is at least one person out there that can relate... Or maybe they don't really give a shit what people think as long as they're having a good time. Anyway... Chalkie released a self recorded demo (6/02) and will start building a name for themselves as soon as they stop slacking and start playing shows. In August of 2003 Chalkie parted ways with Lee. Enter Robert on drums. Jake and Robert go way back and have played in a couple of bands back in high school (Divit). Expect a new demo/EP in the near future (Late 2003).
