Artist History
vx was formed in late 1997 by laura boercker and tom whittaker. over the course of the next few years, they evolved, tweaking their sound over the course of three albums, many remixes for artists across the globe, and opening for national headliners. from the electro-angst of "incantation" to the hardest fist-pumping industrial moments of "the metamorphosis", vx continues forward and ever evolving- constantly destroying any preconception that you have of what their music could be.
vx is currently recording the follow up to their critically acclaimed release "the metamorphosis" to be released later this year.

Press Reviews
(review- illinois entertiner, july 2000)
Hailing from West Lafayette, Indiana, 'VX' is a straight up industry power-
house akin to greats like 'Ministry' and 'Nine Inch Nails''. The female vocals are
engaging, spacey and raw. I personally appreciate the stripped down sound and
enjoy the diversity of what they are doing. It's very ethereal, even sexy music that
ranges from mellow, easy-going, to an almost hard house beat. Keep the spirit alive!
(eric gottesman - deathline international/see colin slash)
they have some truly incredible stuff. hard and bangy with female vocals. great songs. |
