Artist History First formed in August of 2000, Jakeway was Cj (Bass, Vox), Dillon (Guitar, Vox), and Dustin (drums). They started by playing covers and writing some punk-ish type stuff until late novemeber when steve-o joined the band. Steve-o jumped on as the rhythm guitarist and vocalist. The band began to turn less punk rock and more towards an emo/indie sound. The band played its first show on new years eve of 2000 at West Park Friends church. From there, the band has matured by writing more intricate songs and more introspective lyrics. After almost a year of playing shows, writing songs, and trashing songs, they finally recorded their demo cd in december of 2001.
