Press Reviews
Metal Observer - www.metal-observer.de (9/10)
…After a short intro "Death Becomes All" assaults our ears, a good mix from Death and Black Metal, full of melodies and a not really mass-compatible, but still varied and well performed voice, sounds good, damn good in fact! Not exactly original (I am sure that the guys at least once have been in the same country as a CRADLE OF FILTH-CD), but played with an impressive competence!…
… everything is packed into a really impressive production, kudos to Jan Borsing and the band, together with the song-material I'd say that this 5-tracker shadows the majority of regular releases in this sub-genre with ease!
Maybe the best indie-release that my ears have heard this year, for genre-fans an absolutely recommended CD!

…On the bands latest demo "Angelic Voices Calling" they perform a very interesting mix of traditional melodic black metal and elements of hard 80s metal. The go right to the core from the start, let me state that this is simply one of the most well performed demos I've ever heard. The music is very professional and well written and perfectly performed…
…The demo has a completely professional sound, it is recorded in the highly regarded Borsing Studio where many of Denmark's best metal act record their material. The 5 tracks on the demo (one intro and four songs) are all well written and works well together with makes the demo sound more like a unity.
Actually I can't find anything to criticise on this demo, it is very nice to hear such a good and professional black metal bands from Denmark and there is no doubt that Illnath can get far on the black metal scene - they definitely deserve it!
Tartarean Desire - www.tartareandesire.f2s.com (7/10)
This is without a doubt the most professional release I've ever heard from an unsigned band. The production is flawless and I suspect the work on this MCD cost the band a lot of money. Illnath is also the first black metal band from Denmark I've ever heard…
…Illnath is a very modern and powerful sounding black metal band with plenty of great heavy riffing, pounding drums and very grim but still dynamic vocals. Except for commercial black metal the band members are also very much influenced by the heavy metal of the 80's which is perhaps the reason for their riff-happy way of playing. The band also has a very good keyboard player as heard most evidently on the beautiful intro.
Illnath is a band on the rise and I have no doubt that they will receive several offers from record labels all over the world in the near future.
