Artist description
From the jumpin' opening rockin' number, "Rock N Roll Boogie", till the final note of the Presleyesque "Another Heartache", Peter & The Wolves delivers some of the hottest vintage sounding rockabilly and rock n' roll since 1956. If real music was played on the radio, "Girl of My Dreams" would make the Top 10 interesting and fun again. Pete Ludovico – Vocals and Acoustic Rhythm Guitar, Ralph Rebel – Lead Guitar, Joe Klemmer – Drums, and Tom Hopkins – Upright Bass, are veterans of Long Island's vibrant rockabilly scene. These guys have played with the likes of Robert Gordon, Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker, Tim Polecat, and other famous rockabilly artists. So turn back the clock and turn up your radio for... Peter & The Wolves. |

Press Reviews
Hey, I really like these guys! The singer has a rough, rugged voice, kinda like if the King smoked a few packs a day: a very sexually loaded, gritty sound. They are pretty much traditional rockabilly with an edge to it; the upright player is fantastic he really knows how and when to slap! There are 12 songs on this disc and you can find tantalizing delights all throughout it. On Track 3, "Pier Louise," they bring in a saxophone to really jazz things up and make ya wanna pick up yer feet and boogie. Track 4, "Moonlight Cruise," has an old west, Spanish feel to it which I really love. They employ a mouth harp in the song "Hogtied," which is about hillbilly, mountain-man matrimony and how to avoid it (jump off the mountain!) The singer, Pete Ludovico, and the lead guitarist, Ralph Rebel, write all the songs and do a nice job at it. For fans of traditional style rockabilly be sure to pick this one up 'cause it's that good! --- Lisa Marie, Rock N' Roll Purgatory, Winter 2001/2002
