Artist History nastyblackobject arose from the New Orleans gothic/industrial scene in the mid 90's. It left it's mark on local clubs like The Abstract Cafe, The R.C. Bridge Lounge & Jimmy's Music Hall by challenging its listeners with complex melodies and punishing beats. Originally founded by Anthony Thibault and Josua Eustis (telefon tel aviv), its legacy is now being continued by Anthony Thibault. Under his direction nastyblackobject now has a more modern IDM feel, while still staying true to its brutal industrial roots.
