singer/songwriter who has edged out of secular
society and joined the few radical christian
messengers.
With guitar in hand Seal gives you her first
"Christian" CD, "New Song" armed with clear and
true word, passionate voice and her convictions.
On this disc you finally hear Lisa solo.
Just recently disolving her 5 year old all
original rock band, "The Brotherhood Dogs",
she takes a step back into simplicity and ease.

Artist History
Lisa Gallant Seal started playing at the age of 14 or so.
After years of not taking herself and her writing gifts seriously
the late starter began playing her own originals
in the streets in 1989. Lisa became well known locally fast
playing in coffee houses and original clubs etc. She formed her
band The Brotherhood Dogs in 1994.
The Brotherhood Dogs, an all original folk rock
band played in and around New England from 1994-2001.
This band was based in Portland Maine. Seal and her music
partner Glenn Gaudin took this band to the "Bitter End"
in NYC many times trying to hook a deal.
She was looked at by some infuentials but
feeling she had taken the band to where she
had planned, this was goal finished. Lisa decided to
disolve the band in 2001.. Her love for Christ
moved her out of the secular music scene.
Now putting one foot forward, she hopes to
try and reach unsaved hearts and or
saved hearts that are cold, directing them
towards God with her music. |
