Artist History
Formed in late 1999 in Orlando, FL, the band began when local singer/songwriter Jeff Billman and New Jersey native Adam Kaye (formerly of the Coral Springs-based Tumbleweed Tuna) joined forces and began testing new material in a small room in Jeff's rented house. These new songs evolved over a handful of shows and open-mic nights until late '99 when Wendall Eubanks (formerly of Grin Cynic, an Orlando band infamous for appearing on the Howard Stern show) came into the picture. His addition helped Jeff and Adam oil their creative wheels, and over the next eight months the three created and collaborated on dozens of songs – and went through almost as many lead guitarists.
The disastrous search for a talented and/or relatively sane guitarist ended in December of 2000, when the band asked former Tabitha's Secret guitarist and award-winning co-songwriter of "3AM" Jay Stanley to join. Seasoned in a hit-making group and educated at Berklee College of Music in Boston and Full Sail in Orlando, FL, Jay forced Jeff, Adam and Wendall to get serious about their dreams and helped the band solidify their vision.
The band quickly headed into the studio, where Jay took the reigns as producer and began developing the band's distinctive sound. A few months later, the band's debut EP, "Rock Star Parking," was completed and released in the Summer of 2001. Soon after, the band recruited Mike Fuller, a veteran of the Orlando scene, to play keyboards and sing background vocals for their live performances.
Jeff, Adam, Wendall, Jay and Mike are Jack Glass, and Jack Glass is now ready to rock crowds throughout the Southeast to shatter all the safety glass music on your radio.
