Artist description
An elite band of musical operatives, these shadowy,
mysterious figures have just returned from the
troubled, violent Balkan region after playing an
as-of-yet undisclosed role in the notorious
"Chechen affair." After numerous debriefings and
the inevitable congressional hearings that always
follow such international incidents, they quickly
secluded themselves in the studio to record and
produce the politically charged, yet hauntingly
beautiful CD "The Rise and Fall" for Kahn Man
Records, an independent pop music label. This
record is a dynamic song cycle of twenty tunes in
an eclectic variety of styles: up-beat pop, swing,
orchestral, doo-wop, R&B, dance, cabaret, rock and
ragtime. Listen and draw your own conclusions. |

Group Members
Alden Kahn is the undisputed leader of the outfit.
He has proven to be tough, resourceful and lethal
from the treacherous back alleys of Tangier to the
powerful boardrooms of New York to the exotic
shores of Thailand. His affiliation with the
rogue's gallery of dangerous musicians that make
up the Knockouts is no surprise. Each of them is
deadly in his own way:
Derrick "Skins" Flint on drums, Vinnie "the Axe"
Vicelli on bass, Wyatt Spencer, aka "the Law" on
lead guitar, "Ragin" Rick Tempo on rythm guitar,
Mickey "Bones" O'Brannon on trombone, Reed "Mr.
Fantastic" Richards on trumpet, "The Kid" on
saxophone, "Doctor" Seamus Fitzright as the
producer, and Charlie "Pops" Lujack as the manager
and "consultant."
With their leader they would go anywhere,
challenge anyone, and play any kind of music...
