Artist History After becoming disillusioned with all the music industry had to offer, i began a quest to seek the root of my unsuccess. First i thought the problem was within ; the way i looked, the way i dressed, the people i hung around with, the songs just weren't good enough, etc. Every path i chose to disect came to a conclusion with a question mark. Could it all be by chance? Definately not. Record executives dont troll the underground clubs looking for their next meal ticket anymore so chance would have little to play in this world and i have always believed that people make their own luck anyway. So why the fuck hadn't i found the realization of my dream? Good God, I wasnt asking for some pubescent dream of fame and fortune. i was just asking to fit in, in the only way i knew how to express without force. But then again, i guess force has everything to do with it anyway. At that time i realized that the crowd i had sought so long and hard to impress had never heard the generational call of such classics as Lou Reeds' TRANSFORMER, The Pixies TROMPE LE MONDE, The Dandy Warhols COME DOWN, the Replacements PLEASE TO MEET ME, The Jesus and Mary Chains' AUTOMATIC (or the pixies covering " head on") R.E.Ms' FABLES OF THE RECONSTRUCTION/RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FABLES, Tether's Ends' ARMCHAIR REBELLION, The Charlatans SOME FRIENDLY, U2s' BOY.....shit, I could go on forever....just tell us what to like and we will so to hell with impressing. Fuck, i guess i am getting off the subject of my press release.........i'm not 16 anymore and my cares of David Bowie type stardom are no longer killing every other waking thought. i am compelled to write music now only to express myself, not to become a mindless forgettable shadow of a human. i am still angry buy i realze that it doesnt have to consume me. i am still a loner but i realize that that is my choice and my choice alone. i am still different, but now i relish the comfort that it brings. i can explore the depth of thought and action without being alienated. God i am such a bitch.......i guess what i am trying to say is, ENJOY THE CD and dont read into it what you dont want to get out of it.
