Who is HardKnotz? To explain may be a journey into the mind of a madman. Not on the level as insane or a psychopathic killer. He is a everyday normal living human being with a dream. A big dream, far beyond his reaches, but maybe it’s just a arms reach away. Provided the right avenue and proper transportation. There is no bound on where he may go.
HardKnotz born Oquindle Bennett, has been in the lab mixing some lethal chemical. Trying to come up with the perfect formula to amaze the music industry. Doing all the producing on his songs with Ricolf Cross from the group Vamp (album “The Rich Don’t Rock”). Both playing all the instruments and arranging plus mixing. Has come up with a blend of down home southern cook beats with a dash of rock-n-roll. To some this maybe sounds new and to the artist himself it is a test. To see if he can make it in a industry of hard hitting and major play.
On this CD you will not find a lot of syth type beats. You will find blazing drums patterns, gritty bass line, with a mix of pop style guitar playing. Yet, do not be fooled by this. The artist himself created all the fat beats on this recording. Showing that he is not only a rapper, but can get behind the console and produce.
Really there is no definition, to explain his music. You only need to listen and let your mind be free, with such inspirational tracks as “My Life”. To the catchy hook in “These Streets”. On to the Southern Anthem called
“Southern Draw” which will get you to represent your set. Truly an artist that deserves a chance to share his music with others.

Wer ist HardKnotz?
HardKnotz, mit richtigem Namen Oquindle Bennett, US-Amerikaner in Deutschland und Rapper aus Leidenschaft. Aber eben nicht nur Rapper, sondern auch Musiker aus vollem Herzen, der alle Beats seiner Tracks selber komponiert und anschliessend zusammen mit Produzent Ricolf Cross aufnimmt. Beide spielen alle Instrumente „live“ ein, vielleicht neu und ungewohnt im Hip-Hop , aber sicher interessant.
So ist es auch schwer den Musikstil zu definieren. Man sollte einfach zuhren und sich von Tracks wie der Rapballade „My Life“ inspirieren lassen, von den einprgsamen Melodien in „These Streets“ oder der Sdstaaten-Hymne „Southern Draw“
