Music Style Sick Brutal Death Metal

Artist History Drawn and Quartered have brutalized the Pacific Northwest since the summer of 1994, having formed with: Kelly Kuciemba guitar Matt Cason drums and Herb Burke vocals. Line up instabilities hindered the bands progress, yet they performed their third live show, opening for At The Gates and Napalm Death, eliciting a great response from the mostly , unfamiliar, audience. Bassist, Greg Reeves, joined the band in the spring of 1997, just following the release of their debut demo. The afore mentioned, self titled demo, was well received by the underground masses, and one of the tracks, "Open Mind" was featured on the compilation, Eat The Evidence, which was released by NY's Morta Coil records. Numerous live performances have made Drawn and Quartered a formiable live act, devastating the Seattle and Portland areas with other Northwest based Hordes, such as: Thy Infernal, Blood Ritual, Engorged, and Inquisition. They have also opened for such national acts as: Incantation, Morbid Angel, Nile, Obituary, Nevermore, Cephalic Carnage, and many others. In August, 1998, the band entered Vagrant studios, in Seattle, and emerged, in 1999, with their full length offering, To Kill Is Human. This release crushes it's predecessor with a massive improvement in both performance and production. The CD, though self released, is also being distributed thru Moribund Records.
