Artist description Angelwing is female empowerment music. Similar in style to Enya but more dark & moody. Inspired by the classic painting of William A. Bougeureau, 'the Nymphaeum' is full of melodic and moody songs sung by two angels here on earth. The Nymphaeum part I thru part V is a symphonic instrumental of acoustic guitar, piano, cello and accompanied by whispers, oohs and ahhs. Haunting and unforgettable, the Nymphaeum will uplift your spirit, soothe your soul and transcend you to the secret haven of the nymphs. The vocal tracks, 'Radical Seed' and 'Tears of Joy' express the inner emotions and turmoil of love relationships, comparing them to the changing of seasons and the hope for rebirth. Placed as bookends on the album, they compliment and reinforce the gentle beauty of the instrumental tracks. A radio mix of 'Radical Seed' and 'What a beautiful Sunset!' Follow a 10-minute intermission.

Artist History Reenie Varga is an aspiring singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles as well as an accomplished painter and actress and is the main vocal force behind the Reenie Varga Trio who frequently perform in the LA area. Reenie has appeared in films and has lent her voice and likeness to some very successful video games as well. Reenie attended the Tyler school of Art at Temple University and her oil painting 'the Nymph' graces the back cover of the Angelwing CD................................................... Erin Shawn Hawkins is a classically trained singer who got her start at the age of four. She took up the Cello at the ripe age of nine and has been playing ever since. She won the Utah state competition with her high school three years running and is a graduate of the University of Utah majoring in Fine Arts. Erin is currently working on her own solo album project due out in early 2002.........................Rick Costello formerly of the progressive rock band Lost European, is the guitarist/songwriter of Angelwing. He has also created and released 2 other CDs- ‘The Lemming Shepherds’, a children’s CD-ROM storybook that promotes individual thinking and the compilation disc, 'The Job Shopper Album' an eclectic mix of standard and original songs for the Contract Engineer on the road. Three of Rick’s original songs were used in the feature movie ‘Jimi’, a biography of Jimi Hendrix, and Rick also had a cameo appearance in the film. Rick has been playing guitar since the age of twelve and has performed with legendary guitarist Richie Havens and has also appeared on ABC’s “In Concert”.
