Artist History In the beginning, Dave Adams of Joliet, IL & Dan Karabaic of Chicago, IL wanted to form an orginal band that was far from the average every day same old cover bands that were and still are predominant around the area. It was just a matter of time before they ran into drummer Ron Bailey, who at first, was just filling in for studio purposes. When Ron found himself in the same boat Dave & Dan were in, he found that all three had some very common interests and philosophies within musical tastes and desires. Then in early Januaray, February of 1998, bassist Al Kratochvil joined the band. As 1999 emerged, TON OF BRICKS made a decisive & positive change in their line-up. Chris Olsen joined the band to take over on bass guitar and Dave Sossong was acquired for the lead guitar position. These guys have brought alot of fire & positive energy to the band.

This band is aptly named because from beginning to end, this 10-track masterpiece hits exactly like a ton of bricks. 'Heavy' doesn't even begin to describe it. Crushing, hurricane- force, explosive...get the picture? This is hardcore-tinged metal and straightforward metal that is melodic but extremely intense, extremely angry and full of catchy grooves.
