Artist History
THE DARK BOB's one-man, multi-media shows combine song, dance, film, storytelling and live on-stage painting. Although he is best known for his pioneering work in performance art, his music has been produced by PolyGram/Polydor Records, Chronic Interactive Music, The Mark Taper Forum and even art institutions such as The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art and The San Francisco Art Institute. He has toured the United States extensively, performing in museums, galleries, universities, nightclubs, theatres, county fairs, bars, honkytonks and concert halls.
The Dark Bob’s songs, soundtracks and audioworks have been programmed on alternative radio and featured in theatre pieces and film - he recently contributed two songs to the new Carmin Electra film The Chosen One.
