Artist History
Scott received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University in 1992, where he studied music history, performance, and composition - all of which were integral to his solo efforts.
Scott cut his musical chops with the critically-acclaimed Cincinnati band The Name, which he left in 1994 to strike out on his own. His recordings showcase his distinctive style of solo songwriting, and feature the talents of many of New York's finest musicians, who incorporate elements from their own various musical genres into Scott's popular songs.
His recordings include his best-loved and most-requested songs from his last couple of years of performing in New York City's folk and alternative clubs. |
